Well, it’ s time of year for new starts, clean slates, resolutions, and all that. But did you know that many people simply set themselves up for failure when they make resolutions?
There are all sorts of reasons why new year’s resolutions don’t always work out. Sometimes, believe it or not, the start of a new year isn’t necessarily the best time. It’s hard to decide to eat more healthily when the refrigerator is full of lovely rich food left over from the holidays, for example. In the past I’ve dropped many resolutions within days of January 1st. Learning not to give up forever was the best lesson ever.
So if a new year helps you get in the right mindset to make changes, either personal ones or work-related, you’ll want to make sure you’ve set yourself up for success, not for failure. So I’ve written an article for my readers to download and help them get serious about keeping themselves on track.
All the best for 2014!
